The Great Masters of Art Series

All works are Charcoal Pastel Drawings on Cream Museum Board

The Great Masters of Art Series began with a patron wanting a work about Da Vinci. Called La Gioconda, it shows Leonardo painting the Mona Lisa while she poses. Next was Michaelangelo with Zechariah in the Sistine Chapes; then followed Bruegel with The Tower of Babel, Titian with Sacred & Profane Love, Monet & Japonnerie, Klimt & The Virgin, Velasquez & The Infanta, Gauguin with Ia Orana Maria, Goya painting Alba, etc. All of these artists painting their masterworks are artists that have helped me with my life through their courage and Art. Others in the Series are Gericault, Manet, Van Gogh, Rubens, Renoir, Delacroix, Chagall, and more recently the Americans Whistler, Henri, Homer, Kuhn, CM Russell, Remington, Sargent, and Eakins. Michaelangelo I keep with me in my studio, and a few of the original American drawings are available --
